Florida Virtual School, the granddaddy of online schools in the US (it just passed its tenth anniversary) just received a nice, fat grant of $314,000 from the AT&T Foundation. FVS is doing something right–it’s been wildly successful and has served as the model for the many, many online programs that have been developed in the last few years.
And since they’re doing something right, it seems like it would be good for everyone to know precisely what that is. Cheers to AT&T for supporting research in this burgeoning area of education.
